Cats seem to go about their business largely unencumbered by external expectations. They simply follow their natural inclinations. Are they put off by scary stories about climbing up Christmas trees? Do they care if their neighbor’s four-legged friend has a larger food bowl than they do? Do they compare themselves to others on Instagram?
When they are tired, they rest. When they have energy, they play. When they are hungry, they hunt.
